Welcome to Charles Bond.org

picWith a synergy that bridges a hypnotic, southern sound with the nuances of human condition, Charles Bond offers an authentic experience that appeals to the heart. Illuminated by an emerging recognition of his unique voice that transcends traditional gospel, his message yet invites myriad listeners to draw closer to the Master.
Born in 1973 the 7th out of 7 children in the bible belt below the mason-dixon line,Bond's appeal is reflected in the southern, down home roots that flavor his distinctive style. Effortlessly blending old school gospel with contemporary dynamics, his music creates a bridge for diverse people to find common ground. With a rich voice that rolls over the rocky paths of his journey, there yet lingers an aroma of early soulful influences from Al Green, Sam Cook, and Rev C. L. Franklin (the father of the Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin).

Bond's national eminence as a pastor and preacher for over 18 years has positioned him to seamlessly translate that capacity through song. His national schedule for singing and preaching spans over 38 states and over 27 major cities annually. His gift at elevating people is evidenced by over a quarter of a million combined hits on You Tube. In 2009, Bond was also voted the "Most Listened to Pastor" in Columbus and surrounding cities in Ohio by an audience of over a quarter of a million with his weekly radio program, Help Us Jesus.

His sophomore CD Free at Last fulfills the promise and excitement generated by his first project, The Chronicles of a Country Boy. As a dynamic vocalist and songwriter, Bond shares his passion for encouraging the weary, elevating others to a posture of hope, and lifting weary heads so they may look towards the hills.
Magnetic in his persona yet humble in his heart, the richness and power of Charles Bond's Free at Last leaves no listener unchanged. By intuitively connecting to unspoken emotions and the soul's longing, Bond's music provides a pathway for a meaningful encounter with God. And the essence of his music mirrors our universal journey by offering us the best reflection of ourselves, the image that God intended all along.
